I'm an actor first, otherwise known as ambient architecture. To be a part of art is truly amazing. I direct and write as well, and have become interested in the design that goes into a production. To be able to look back upon your work and to know you made something work, that you made a contribution to art is such a rush. Theatre is my high, now I'm just looking for someone to share it with.

Joni Mitchell. She is a briliant musician and eloquent lyricist, and she gets me through tough times. Her song "Come In From the Cold" makes me want to weep, and "Chelsea Morning" makes me love everything about my life.
Stephen Sondheim. I love it when theater means something. Sondheim makes this happen. His music is also just frickin' fun to play.
Damien Rice. "Eskimo." Endearing.
Rufus Wainwright. My gratitude to Laszlo Layton for introducing us. He has a unique style and is so musically gifted. He's a great role-model for gays and to anyone who loves music... which is everyone, right?
favorite movies
Contact. Its the pinacle of science v. faith. It also has great science-fiction elements, intelligent socio-political commentary, and Matthew McConaughey's naked body.
Amadeus. I love music, opera, theater, and F. Murray Abraham... I love Amadeus.
Charade. Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn, and Walter Matthau's unforgettable "They left me there!" performance. Its timeless.
Rear Window. Frankly, this man's idea of the perfect movie. Grace Kelly isabsolutely gorgeous, and the suspense is real. I'd love to see a comedic remake from the point of view of Thorwald's apartment. Somehow its all a big misunderstanding. :)
books
Shakespeare. I read him for fun. Of note, my favorite play is "Timon of Athens."
Bradbury. Personal connections aside, I would love his work anyway. "The Illustrated Man" is my favorite book. His writing is magical, and his worlds are very mythological in nature.
Dan Brown. "Angels & Demons." This book, like Contact, perfectly combines the elements of science and faith.
And I'm not gonna lie, I love non-fiction. Anything historical, religous, scientific, politicial, artistic, I'll read it.
